NICU Singlet

As I was strolling through Baby Bunting, I came across this tiny little singlet. In that moment, my heart swelled with excitement because, for the first time, I had found something made just for my baby, something that would fit his delicate, tiny body. It wasn’t just a piece of clothing to me—it was a symbol of hope. I imagined the day I would dress him in it, counting down the days until he reached his goal weight. The thought of him growing strong enough to wear it filled me with joy, a feeling I had been waiting so long to experience as a micro preemie mum.

Now, the singlet is tucked away in his hospital memory box, a precious reminder of how incredibly small he once was. But even more than that, it reminds me of that special moment when, for the first time, I felt genuine joy and hope during a journey that had been filled with so many challenges. It’s a piece of our story, a token of the strength and resilience that both he and I have had from the very beginning.
